Official Rules

1. Sponsor and Promotion

The YzOak YzNode Studio Giveaway (the "Promotion" or "Giveaway") is sponsored by YzOak, Inc. ("Sponsor"), 2600 Wallace St, Oakland, CA 94606. The Promotion is governed by these Official Rules and applicable law.

2. Promotion Period

The Promotion begins September 1, 2026 at 12:00:00 a.m. Pacific Time ("PT") and ends November 30, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. PT (the "Promotion Period"). Sponsor's systems are the official timekeeping devices for the Promotion.

3. Eligibility

The Promotion is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old and the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, contractors, and agents of Sponsor, and members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

4. Agreement to Official Rules

By participating, entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by Sponsor's decisions concerning administration of the Promotion, which will be final and binding to the extent permitted by law. Entrant represents that all information submitted is accurate and that entrant satisfies the eligibility requirements.

5. How to Enter

During the Promotion Period, an eligible entrant may visit yzoakhome.com/studio-giveaway, complete the official entry form, accept the required Promotion disclosures, and verify the email address supplied. A successfully verified entrant receives one (1) base entry. No purchase or payment is required.

An entrant may maintain only one entrant account/identity. Repeated submission of the same email address does not create additional base entries.

6. Bonus Entries

Eligible verified entrants may earn additional entries as follows:

• Customer-Discovery Survey: three (3) additional entries for completing the designated Residential Computing survey, limited to one survey award per entrant.
• Verified Referrals: five (5) additional entries for each qualifying verified referral, for up to twenty (20) qualifying referrals per entrant (maximum 100 referral bonus entries).

A qualifying referral occurs when a new eligible person uses the entrant's unique referral link or code, completes the Promotion entry process, and successfully verifies that person's email address. Self-referrals, duplicate identities, fictitious accounts, automated entries, disposable or fabricated email accounts, or other attempts to manufacture referral credit are not qualifying referrals.

No purchase, payment, subscription, or other monetary consideration will provide an entry, additional entry, or improved odds of winning.

7. Entry Limits and Integrity

Sponsor may investigate and disqualify entries or bonus entries reasonably determined to have resulted from fraud, abuse, automation, bots, scripts, false identities, duplicate accounts, self-referrals, manipulation, circumvention of Promotion limits, or interference with the proper administration of the Promotion. Sponsor may require reasonable verification of identity or eligibility.

If a dispute arises regarding the identity of an entrant, Sponsor may treat the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter as the entrant, subject to proof of eligibility.

8. Entrant Status and Records

Entrants may receive access to a secure online status page showing verified Promotion activity, eligible entry totals, survey status, and referral activity. The status page is provided for convenience. Sponsor's official Promotion records control in the event of a discrepancy.

9. Prize

One (1) winner will receive one (1) YzNode Studio and one (1) YzCam USB-C camera peripheral. The currently planned retail value of YzNode Studio is $999 and the currently planned retail value of YzCam is $69, for a total approximate retail value (ARV) of $1,068.

YzNode Studio and YzCam are products under development and are not commercially available as of the effective date of these Rules. Images, specifications, features, functionality, software, packaging, and final retail pricing may change before commercial release. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable, subject to applicable law.

The winner may not transfer, assign, or redeem the prize for cash except at Sponsor's discretion where permitted by law. All federal, state, and local taxes and any expenses not expressly stated as included are the winner's responsibility.

10. Prize Fulfillment and Product-Development Timing

Because the prize products are currently under development, prize delivery is expected to occur after production hardware becomes available. Sponsor presently anticipates commercial/production availability after the Promotion concludes, but no specific shipping date is guaranteed. Sponsor will communicate material fulfillment updates to the confirmed winner.

If Sponsor determines in good faith that the advertised hardware cannot reasonably be produced or delivered, Sponsor may provide a substitute prize of equal or greater value, subject to applicable law.

11. Winner Selection and Odds

After the Promotion Period ends, Sponsor will conduct or cause to be conducted a random drawing from all eligible entries received. Each valid accumulated entry will have an equal chance of selection. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Sponsor may use a verifiable random-selection method and will retain records sufficient to document the drawing and selected potential winner.

12. Potential Winner Notification and Verification

The potential winner will be contacted at the email address associated with the selected entry. The potential winner may be required, within the time specified in Sponsor's notification, to confirm eligibility and provide a mailing address and other information reasonably necessary for prize delivery, tax reporting, or legal compliance, and may be required to execute an affidavit/declaration of eligibility, liability/publicity release (where lawful), or other customary prize-claim documentation.

If the potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the period stated in Sponsor's notification, is found ineligible, declines the prize, or fails to satisfy required claim conditions, Sponsor may disqualify that person and select an alternate potential winner by random drawing from the remaining eligible entries.

13. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner's name, city and state of residence, likeness, voice, and statements about the Promotion for reasonable Promotion-related publicity without additional compensation, subject to applicable law and any separate consent requirements.

14. Privacy, Early Access, and Communications

Information collected in connection with the Promotion will be handled in accordance with Sponsor's then-current Privacy Policy and the disclosures presented at entry. Entrants joining YzOak Early Access may receive communications regarding YzOak, Residential Computing, products, product development, Early Access opportunities, and the Promotion.

An entrant may unsubscribe from marketing communications using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in such communications. Unsubscribing from marketing communications after a valid Promotion entry has been submitted will not invalidate otherwise eligible Promotion entries. Sponsor may still send transactional or Promotion-administration communications reasonably necessary to verify an entry, provide secure status access, administer the Promotion, notify a potential winner, or fulfill the prize.

15. Technical Problems and Promotion Administration

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected, delayed, or technically unsuccessful entries or communications caused by network, internet, email, device, software, hosting, or other technical failures beyond Sponsor's reasonable control. If the Promotion cannot be administered as intended because of fraud, technical failure, security incident, force majeure, legal restriction, or another event materially affecting integrity or feasibility, Sponsor may suspend, modify, or terminate the Promotion to the extent permitted by law.

If the Promotion is terminated early, Sponsor may, where lawful and practicable, select the winner from eligible entries received before the event giving rise to termination.

16. Release and Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BY PARTICIPATING, ENTRANT AGREES TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR AND ITS PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM CLAIMS, DAMAGES, LOSSES, OR LIABILITIES ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION OR ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, OR MISUSE OF THE PRIZE, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT SUCH RELEASE IS PROHIBITED BY LAW.

Nothing in these Official Rules excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

17. Disputes and Governing Law

Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that disputes arising from or relating to the Promotion or these Official Rules will be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and will be resolved individually rather than through a class or representative action. Any legal action arising from or relating to the Promotion or these Official Rules shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Alameda County, California, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

18. Social and Third-Party Platforms

The Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with YouTube, Google, Meta, Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, or any other social platform or third-party service through which the Promotion may be advertised or discussed. Entrants release such platforms from claims arising solely from Sponsor's administration of this Promotion to the extent permitted by law.

19. Taxes

The winner is solely responsible for federal, state, local, or other taxes associated with receipt or use of the prize. Sponsor may issue tax documentation if required by law. The winner should consult the winner's own tax adviser regarding individual tax consequences.

For information identifying the confirmed winner after completion of the Promotion and winner verification, requests may be submitted to hello@yzoakhome.com or mailed to YzOak, Inc., 2600 Wallace St, Oakland, CA 94606, subject to applicable law and privacy requirements.

If any provision of these Official Rules is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law. Headings are for convenience only. Sponsor's failure to enforce any provision will not constitute a waiver.
